Introduction
Quality Enhancement Cell has been established for assurance of quality in teaching as well as other academic activities to meet the global challenges of education. The main focus of the QEC is implementation of the policies of the HEC for quality assurance and the monitoring of degree programs offered by the University Management System to promote skill-based learning. The system maintains and identifies the outcomes of educational programs, implements and reviews systems and tools for quality assessment, and develops appropriate data collection methods.
Vision
Our vision is to make Quality Enhancement Cell of the University Management System competitive with the standards of national and international institutes.
Mission
Our mission is to strengthen quality of education in the University Management System by fulfilling requirements and satisfaction of all the stakeholders by developing quality assurance policies, automating the assessment processes in collaborating with statutory bodies.
Objectives
- Implementation of the assessment procedures and measures of HEC for the promotion of quality culture at University Management System.
- Developing, implementing and promoting good services for adapting performance of each department through procedures of HEC.
- Empowers the provision of high quality education and academic standards.
Action Plans
- Ensures self-assessment reports and implementation across departments.
- Conducts online teacher and course evaluations every semester.
- Assists faculty with plagiarism checks for HEC travel grant submissions.
- Organizes assessment meetings to review departmental quality provisions.
- Monitors academic activities as per HEC instructions.
- Conducts training sessions on assessment and quality policies.
- Ensures compliance with HEC regulations for staff hiring and admissions.
- Provides plagiarism-checking services using appropriate software.
- Monitors institutional efficiency and evaluates performance standards.
- Coordinates seminars and workshops for continuous quality improvement.
